FAQ

Why is DroidPad so hard to install?

DroidPad uses several external software packages, which it has to install at startup. This is the simplest that I can make the install procedure, and I’d be happy to accept suggestions about simplifying it.

DroidPad isn’t working!

There are thousands of places where DroidPad could potentially fail, and posting “doesn’t work” on the Market won’t help me to fix it. Instead, read the manual, contact me, post on the forum, or file a bug on Launchpad (General problems, Windows-specific, Linux-specific, Android-specific).

How can I enable/disable “Test Mode” on 64-bit Vista & Windows 7?

The easiest way is to go into Settings, then click “Enable” under “64-bit PPJoy enable”, then restart.

Otherwise, click “Start”, “All Programs->Accessories”, right click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as Administrator”. Then type “bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF”, close the window, and reboot.
