Network Spoofer Beta
I just released a new program for Android phones – Network Spoofer – it’s an application which lets you mess with the internet on other computers, and (currently) flip & blur pictures, change google searches, and redirect websites. Many more features will be added in the future.
A download is available from the Android Market – see the main page for more information. This is still a very early release – please say if you notice anything odd happening – it’s the only way I can improve and fix things!
Thanks to the developer of the Upside-down-ternet for the inspiration for this project.
Enjoy spoofing!
This app caused my atrix to crash and rebooot. I tried several times and it would hang up while downloading.
I’d imagine that’s because the atrix has a different processor to most Android phones – I’ll look into it.
As for the download hanging, I’m trying to find some better storage for the file – my current web hosting isn’t the best place to put it.
I’m going to try this on my zte blade and see if it works.
If it does ill leave a good review of the app

So, non of the exploits actualy working but the arp reaply does, when i run a exploit it shows a eth0 error and it dosnt recognized any device on the network, i’ve tried to enter my own internal ip but no success.
I know this is still on beta but i’m just saying this stuff so that you may fix it.
No problems downloading the files but they were a bit big.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for reporting this bug; on my device (and a few others) the Wifi device is called ‘eth0′ – it must be different for your device. I’ll look into this, and fixing it (so that it detects the correct device) should be fairly easy.
Thanks,
Digitalsquid
i just downloaded this app and try to use it on my friend. sense he has a laptop i assume it would work because its arp, so i went to my other friend he has a desktop(lan) and nothing happen.could u please fix this. also i have terminal emulator not busybox and idk if it works with that
Hi
Please could you send the Android Log, with the Log Collector program on the Android Market. With this information I can see what is going wrong. You can contact me on the contact page.
Hi
In my lg optimus 2x (g2x, star) all works fine except the website redirect.
Thanks.
Erxava.
Awesome idea,
Haven’t gotten around to testing it too much yet on my Transformer tablet, but I can’t seem to be able to kill the background process. Is there a clean way to exit the app?
BJammin,
Are you talking about when the spoof is actually running? If so, then most of the spoofs do take a long time to shut down (around 30 seconds). Just wait for it, and it should stop eventaully. It will be doing something. When the application is exited (by pressing back all the way to the home screen), the network spoofer system is unloaded and stopped.
Hi, I downloaded the app and it looks very promising
one problem though… I run it on my Acer Iconia A500 and everything seems to be normal until I try to open websites on my attacked computer. The browser just says access denied. Here is the exact message:

I hope you can help me fix this because I love the idea behind the app. Thank you
Hi
This is probably a permission problem inside the application – I’ll reduce the access control restrictions to a lower level in the next version; that should stop this happening.
Hi,
I have a rooted HTC HD2 with CoreDroid
ARP poisoning works (I can tell running the command “arp -a” on my PC),
but the traffic is not redirected (can’t ping the gateway from my PC) any idea please
NB: same problem with packet sniffer !
thanks, keep up the good work.
