DroidPad 0.9.6 – More Stable & Debuggable!
In the latest release of DroidPad – version 0.9.6 (note that the Android and Windows versions no longer match up) – it will now tell you why it crashed, so I can find any bugs and try to fix them.
There is also Debug mode, which outputs everything the program is doing. You can email me this output of something goes wrong.
Known Bugs:
- adb.exe missing – don’t know why this is happening, and if it does happen, are you running 64-bit windows? (I don’t know if this would matter)
- Crash when click start – this should no longer happen, but instead, it may tell you why it crashed. Check the help page for info on sending debug information.
- dpinst.exe missing – see below
Also, if manually installing the USB driver (because dpinst.exe is ‘missing’) then once it is installed, the phone will not ‘appear’ when you plug it in. If nothing appears, then you have set it up correctly. See help for more info.
If you know of any more bugs, then please tell me!

hey I’m getting that adb.exe is missing error. I’ve tried reinstall, seems to be faulty install package? HELP!
also, when I try a manual USB install, the program gives me n error that says “The file is missing, did you delete it?”
I know about this error, and I will look into it tomorrow. The error isn’t that the file is missing, but it’s just saying that.
I’ll also include the newer version of adb.exe in the next release, which may help.
